National Alcohol Screening Day at Tunxis April 8, 2010

Tunxis Community College invites the community to National Alcohol Screening Day on April 8 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. in Founders Hall. The event is part of National Alcohol Awareness Month in April.

The screening offers the public and students the opportunity to learn what they need to know to draw the line with alcohol. A brief, private self-assessment asks participants about their drinking habits and behaviors. Educational material will be available, as well as referrals to local treatment and support resources for those who need further evaluation.
