In addition to catering to a variety of palettes, the Taste of Chicago in Grant Park treats music lovers’ ears to a daily, diverse lineup of internationally renowned and local artists. June 29th is Celtic Music Day and the entertainment will be headlined by Canadian Natalie MacMaster. Born in Nova Scotia, she comes from an impressive musical lineage includes a cadre of amazing fiddlers, including her uncle, fiddle prodigy Buddy MacMaster and the late, great Canadian folk icon John Allan Cameron. However, MacMaster forged her own sound, debuting her fiddling prowess at the age of nine-and-a-half years. She has performed with The Chieftains, Paul Simon, Faith Hill, Luciano Pavarotti and in front of millions on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno, Late Night with Conan O’Brien, the ABC 2002 New Year’s Eve Special and Good Morning America.
