Jeremy Strick, director of Dallas’ Nasher Sculpture Center, will speak at Richland College on April 8 as a special pre-event to the college’s annual Digital Media Festival. Mr. Strick’s lecture, “Contemporary Artists,” will be at 10 a.m. in Sabine Hall, Room SH118.
Director of the Nasher since 2009, Mr. Strick has written and lectured extensively about modern and contemporary art. Before the Nasher, Mr. Strick was director of The Museum of Contemporary Art (MOCA) in Los Angeles. He also served as a senior curator at the Art Institute of Chicago and held curatorial posts at The Saint Louis Art Museum and the National Gallery of Art, Washington, D.C.
