Naperville Community Gardeners invite the public to their April meeting and program. The speaker is Erin Tuttle. Discover how simple and rewarding it is to garden in harmony with the natural world. Organic gardening mimics natural systems, keeping pests in check without chemical pesticides, and encouraging robust plants without synthetic fertilizers. Tuttle will show us how to think like ecologists in our own backyards, and watch our landscapes transform into lush and prolific systems.
Tuttle is a certified naturalist with more than 12 years of experience working in home, commercial, and ecological landscapes. She is an environmental educator and staff member at The Conservation Foundation, and spends her spare time in her own backyard, tending chickens, raising vegetables, and making room for an ever-growing prairie garden.
