In 2001, while Ambassador to Hungary, The Honorable Nancy G. Brinker began collecting and developed a passion for Hungarian art which grew into this collection. As founder of the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation, Ambassador Brinker decided to share this artwork with communities around the country, tying in with local affiliates’ Art for the Cure events. After a debut in Brinker’s home town, Cleveland, with its large Hungarian population and roots, is the first venue.
