Naked Shrubs: Shrubs in Winter January 29, 2011

No leaves? No problem! We'll use a combination of branching patterns, bud and bark characteristics, habitat, persistent fruits, galls and marcescent leaves to help us identify woody plants in winter. We'll begin indoors before heading out to get an up close look at several trees and shrubs. We'll end back inside with a cup of something hot. Registration is required. Call 617-489-5050 for details.
