Thirsty for something different? Nage Bistro, a creative and casual neighborhood restaurant in Scott Circle, is squeezing out summer with a new menu of unique hand-squeezed lemonade and limeade combinations. With summer around the corner, the menu of seven innovative and delicious flavors is a deliciously refreshing idea.
Starting June 1st and running through September, Nage will be offering thirst-quenching lemonade and limeade combinations including Rosemary-Blueberry Lemonade, Basil-Strawberry Lemonade, Rhubarb Soda Lemonade, Cucumber-Mint Limeade, and of course your classic Limeade.
Nage is also helping to put a squeeze on childhood cancer by hosting a ‘Lemonade Days’ fundraiser from June 11-13 to raise money for Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation, a children’s cancer charity founded by a young cancer patient to raise money to find a cure for her disease. All proceeds from lemonade sales during the event will be donated to Alex’s Lemonade Stand, helping to fund research, raise awareness and provide resources to those affected by childhood cancer.
Each pint-sized glass of the hand-squeezed thirst quenchers is $3.50. For happy hour summer refreshment, each mixologist concoction may also be made “hard” with a shot of Stoli Vodka. Varieties are seasonal and availability may vary.
Nage Bistro is located at 1600 Rhode Island Avenue, NW in Washington DC, just blocks from Dupont Circle and the White House. Open Monday - Friday for breakfast, lunch and dinner; Saturday for dinner and brunch on Sunday, Nage features innovative food at affordable prices, specialty cocktails and an original beer menu.
