Thinking of a family Sunday evening? Head down to East Coast Park’s Playground @ Big Splash for NAC- ExxonMobil Concert in the Park on the 16th of October!
The free outdoor concert is back to bring a range of activities and performances for you and your family. Perfect way to end the weekend where Mummies, Daddies, children play and relax in the lush greenery of the park.
Celebrating the diversity of cultures in Singapore, the Dance Ensemble Troupe (D.E.T) from Variasi Performing Arts would be putting together a fusion dance item from traditional, contemporary and modern dances. That’s not all, be enchanted by the beauty of Indian dance with the combination of “Belly” and “Bolly” dancing. Brought to you by Bellydance Discovery,” Belly Bolly” is a bollywood-inspired dance which will bring the sensuality of belly-dancing to a whole new level.
Of course, when there is dance, there will be music. Watch the ladies from Pandora Chinese Orchestra perform pop selections while dancing on the stage. Immerse yourself in the lively and rhythmical Brazilian dance culture of the Samba Danoe Troupe – Conversa De Samba. This sure is a night you will never forget!
Apart from the performances, fringe activities such as the Community batik (Indonesian Culture), henna (Indian culture), rainbow calligraphy and an art workshop titled Angie’s “Happiness is a warm meal” will promise you an interactive and eye-opening evening to various cultures.
