Naayika - Indian Classical & Contemporary Charity Recital for UNICEF June 7, 2008

Nava Nritya Dance Academy of Philadelphia presents:

We will showcase beautiful Indian classical Bharatnatyam and contemporary Navanritya dances by our students and will present two new productions: "Snow White" and "Warrior Princess Chitra" using various classical and ballet movements including martial arts. Celebrating 4 years of outstanding artistic achievements in Indian classical and contemporary, we are a group of 33 students and dancers and our annual charity shows benefit various organizations in India to help the underprivileged. We have raised over $36,000 in the past two years for Sankara Eye Foundation and Ekal Vidyalaya USA .

This year all show proceeds will benefit UNICEF 's programs in India and donations are tax-deductible. Your generous support will help thousands of children in India .
