The show being offered might well be called “Fakespeakeare,” because the comedy group has crafted a satire of William Shakespeare that leaves no comic holds “Bard.” Mystery Theatre founder Butch Maxwell noted, “If you don’t know much or anything about Shakespeare – this show’s for you. The actors trying to do the play know nothing about Shakespeare, either. In fact, they’re barely even actors. Along the way, we make fun of everything associated with the theatre and much more. Plus, you have the fun of trying to solve a murder mystery.” The show is actually entitled “McDeath or Nothing Much About Doo-Doo.”

Thursday, August 20: River City Ale Works, located at 14th & Main Streets in Wheeling, call (304) 233-4555. Tickets are $30 and include a three course meal with entrée choices of fish, steak, pasta or chicken, and the show itself. Doors open at 6:30.
