The MySpace Bside Roadshow is traveling around the country in an effort to bring independent music and film to audiences across the country - they are making a stop in Ann Arbor on Friday, June 9. Before The Music Dies premiered to sold out audiences at South by Southwest and explores the music industry's abandonment of artists and fans in its single-minded pursuit of corporate profits. The film presents interviews and performances by artists such as Erykah Badu, Dave Matthews and Eric Clapton. The film will screen at the Michigan Theater and then they will go to the Elbow Room in Ypsilanti where bands Mr. Gnome, The Hot Carl's, StreetLamps for Spotlights and Big Brother will play.
