Not to be missed is the magnificent 28-foot tall revolving lantern at the Sky Park! This breath-taking lantern is decorated with peonies motif to symbolise VivoCity’s wishes for wealth and prosperity to all our shoppers.

Unique Art Performances from China
Performing groups from four different parts of China have been specially chosen to bring entertainment and joy to shoppers at VivoCity this Lunar New Year. Be captivated by performers from Fuzhou, Hubei Tongshan, Jiangxi and Hunan as they bring you the best of Chinese arts including acrobatic acts, traditional song and dance performances. The performances will take place from 15 January to 28 February 2010 at Central Court, Level 1.

Chinese Lunar New Year Lucky Draw
May the God of Fortune smile on you this Lunar New Year! Just spend a minimum of $30 (in a single receipt) at any VivoCity outlet between 15 January to 28 February 2010, and you can participate in the lucky draw for a chance to win attractive prizes. Up for grabs are a Goldheart Celestial® Jewellery Set worth $20,000 and three tour packages of six-day trip for two to Hunan Shaoshan, China, worth $2,900 each. Shoppers who charge their purchases to OCBC Credit Cards are entitled to double chances of winning.

Chinese Arts & Crafts
Booths selling exquisite Chinese arts and crafts will be at VivoCity from 15 January to 28 February for shoppers searching for the perfect gifts for friends and family. These pieces are sure to add touches of joy to complement festivities in homes celebrating the Lunar New Year!


Jewellery Vouchers with Purchase
Shoppers who spend a minimum of $150 (maximum of three combined same-day receipts) from 15 January to 28 February 2010 will be able to redeem a $50 Goldheart Jewelry voucher. OCBC Credit Cardmembers only need to charge $100 to qualify. This promotion is limited to the first 5,000 shoppers on a maximum of one voucher per shopper per day, on a first-come, first-served basis.

Specially Designed Red Packets
Delight your loved ones with specially designed red packets this Lunar New Year. Shoppers who spend a minimum of $100 (maximum of three combined same-day receipts) from 15 January to 28 Feburary will be able to redeem a pack of two specially designed red packets. OCBC Credit Cardmembers only need to charge $80 to qualify. This promotion is limited to a maximum of two sets per shopper per day, regardless of total purchase amount, on a first-come, first-served and while stocks last basis.

Lion Dance Performance
VivoCity has specially invited Singapore’s very own award-winning Wen Yang Lion Dance troupe to bring good luck and prosperity to all shoppers on 22 February at Central Court, Level 1. The troupe will perform gravity defying stunts, where audience will see a lion leaping across 2.5m tall poles set 2.4m apart. The lion will then climb up a 5m pole to unveil a long banner wishing all a prosperous Chinese New Year. In the finale, five lions and an adorable big head doll will perform a traditional Cai Qing performance amidst showers of colourful confetti and golden glitter. The troupe will also be performing at various outlets. Come on down to revel in the festive mood!
