In difficult economic times and challenging environmental conditions, as gardeners we find ourselves returning to the traditional gardening techniques of generations past, albeit with a modern twist! This popular annual event, cosponsored by the NC Arboretum, the NC State Cooperative Extension Service, and the Buncombe County Master Gardeners, returns this year with a look at how the past can teach us to be better landscape stewards in the future. Presenters and topics include "Floral Arrangements from the Mixed Border" by Eve Davis of Hawk and Ivy Bed and Breakfast, and "Old Garden Roses" by Judy Deutsch. Program fee includes all handouts as well as drink and lunch service.
