The Nitty GrittyMy Drink On Sip and Search race is rolling to Chi-Town on September 17th, 2011.
Sip and Search is an amazingly fun competitive race that mixes the fun of a scavenger hunt, urban race, and a bar crawl into one day. Pick your partner wisely, as teams of two will gallivant around Chicago, competing against other teams for over $900 in cash prizes! Use your legs and heads to solve clues throughout Lincoln Park.
The race starts at Hidden Shamrock at 4:30 PM, but all teams are encouraged to show up from 3:00 PM to 4:15 PM to pick up race packets and partake in the sponsored hosted bar. Have a drink or two while trying to strategize your course of action and to get a jump start on your first clue. You don’t need to be able to run a 4:00 mile, but that will definitely help your team. However, your brains and strategy will ultimately claim the victor. Each participant in the race gets a clue packet, race-number bib, t-shirt, and over $50 worth of gifts/coupons.
After the completion of the Sip and Search, all participants are invited to partake in after-party at Hidden Shamrock where the winners will be announced. There will be food and drink specials for everyone to enjoy. So dust off those running shoes; brush up on your knowledge of Chicago and don’t miss out on this unique race.
