MWA 2012 Waterfront Conference May 17, 2012

Explore environmental and economic issues affecting our region’s water at the 2012 Waterfront Conference in New York City on May 18 and 19 at Chelsea Piers in New York City.

This year’s conference, Our Harbor: An Environmental Engine and Economic Resource will explore the plans and initiatives that will further the vital work of government, the MWA Alliance, businesses, and communities to transform the New York – New Jersey Harbor. The subjects being addressed at the conference are ones that both play a role in securing a sound future for the NY-NJ metropolitan area and in improving the experience of residents and visitors alike. To achieve these goals, we must continue to clean the water, provide better access, green the port and industry, and prepare for the new challenge of sea level rise.
