Mutual Strangers: Henry Hudson & the River That Discovered Him June 7, 2009

This multi-layered drama is based on events surrounding Hudson's 1609 voyage on the river that today bears his name, and features a large cast of handmade actors, lovely scenic effects, and original music by composers Dean Jones and Dennis Yerry. Based on the log of first mate Robert Juet, and the oral traditions of Lenape and Mahican peoples, 'Mutual Strangers' presents a collage of overlapping narratives to mark the 400th anniversary of this world-changing voyage.
