Musicfest Vancouver presents Lorraine Desmarais Trio August 9, 2011

We are fortunate to welcome one of Montreal’s favourite jazz trios to MusicFest Vancouver. Pianist Lorraine Desmarais’ recordings and performances have garnered her many prestigious awards, including the Oscar Peterson Award from the Montreal Jazz Festival. Joining Lorraine are her longtime colleagues Frédéric Alarie (bass) and Camil Bélisle (drums). Don't miss this rare West Coast visit by Montreal's first lady of jazz!
