Liz Davis Maxfield has performed, lectured, and taught workshops on folk cello throughout the United States, Canada, and Europe. She holds degrees from Berklee College of Music and University of Limerick in Ireland where, as a Fulbright fellow, she was the first cellist to complete a graduate degree in Irish traditional music performance.
