California Lawyers for the Arts, in collaboration with the Community School of Music and Arts, at Finn Center, and Arts Council of Silicon Valley present a workshop on the legal rights of musicians.
This program provides a general overview of a musician’s legal rights. Topics will include recording agreements, music publishing, licensing your music for film and tv, distribution (online and off), and releasing your own album. Time for questions follows the presentation. This program is for you, whether you are new to the music business or in the process of making your own album.
