Music in the Park November 8, 2007

Join the informal non-hosted jam sessions along the beautiful Peace River. Jamming starts in the early evening every Thursday year round. Common jams grow out from the various covered picnic areas and even into the lawn areas. Rock, Blues, Bluegrass, Old-time, Folk and Country music free for all.

On Thursday evenings, Gilchrist Park located along the shores of Charlotte Harbor in the historic homes district of downtown Punta Gorda comes alive with music. Dozens of musicians come together for a spontaneous jam session playing all genres of music from blue grass to classical to folk and rock. Bring a lawn chair and enjoy the wonderful sunset on the Peace River.
