Music in the L.A. Zoo - Classic Rock Night July 28, 2011

This family-friendly open-air festival has been delighting music lovers of all ages for more than a decade. Sounds of steel drums, violins, guitars, and other instruments float through the night air as patrons stroll from venue to venue throughout the Zoo, enjoying a variety of musical acts from 6-9pm.

July 28, 2011 - Classic Rock - Features tribute bands performing covers of popular songs by U2, the Grateful Dead, the Eagles, the Beatles, the Doors, and more.
Tickets for this popular annual event go fast, so don’t delay!

Bring your own picnic basket or purchase a variety of food and beverages on site, and dine under the stars. While you're tapping your toes to the beat, be sure to check out the animals, many of whom are allowed to stay up past their bedtimes for the occasion. (Zoo staff carry decibel monitors around to ensure the animals have as much fun as the guests.)

Ticket prices for members are $13 for adults and $8 for children ages 6-15; nonmember ticket prices are $17 for adults and $11 for children ages 6-15. There is no admission charge for children age 5 and under. http://lazoo.org/mitz/index.html
