Music for Horn - Tufts Thursday Discoveries January 29, 2009

Anne Howarth, a talented horn player and chamber musician living in the Boston area, leads a chamber music performance for brass with many other area musicans. Works by Wilder, Schubert, and several others will be performed. Ms. Howarth appears regularly in area ensembles including the Plymouth Philharmonic Orchestra, Hartford Symphony, Rhode Island Philharmonic, Boston Pops, and Boston Symphony Orchestra. She appeared with Yo-yo Ma's Silk Road Project in 2000. Anne is also a founding member of the Radius Ensemble, as well as its outreach director.
