The Fine Arts Department is pleased to present The FiveOne Experimental Orchestra on Saturday, October 22nd, at 3:30 p.m. on the 3rd floor of Main Library. This program is FREE and open to all ages. For more information please call: 216-623-2848 or email finearts@cpl.org.
The FiveOne Experimental Orchestra is a young and dynamic new music ensemble dedicated to the bizarre and abstract of the classical music world. It is their goal to bridge the art music scene to the indie rock world by appealing to the audiences of both and opening minds closed by a lack of proper exposure. FOEO is a collection of fifteen musicians and composers centered right here in Cleveland, Ohio; combining our conservatory training with our own pop music sensibilities for a unique sound.
They are a not-for-profit 501[c]3 arts organization with a particular commitment to fostering the careers of emerging Ohio musicians through brand new musical composition. The FiveOne Experimental Orchestra is constantly expanding our horizons by playing live engagements, releasing recordings, and collaborating with artists from other disciplines. Their goal is to provide a richly intense musical landscape pointed straight at a youthful, free-thinking crowd.
