Italian pianist Patrizia Scascitelli and tenor Emiliano Loconsolo will be performing at the Italian Cultural Institute of San Francisco. The concert program presents, through music and stories, two aspects of Italian emigration. The great Italian emigration started in the late XIX century and continued at large into the XX century. The other emigration was represented by the role of the Italian scientists and inventors, who have contributed to the industrial and technological development in the world, especially in the U.S. The music program will include performances of music compositions related to the subjects presented.
