Murder Mystery Dinner Theatre - Coleslaw & Order June 18, 2009

The FINAL SCHEDULED PERFORMANCE of Mystery Theatre Unlimited’s all-new musical comedy murder mystery show, “Coleslaw & Order,” will be presented Thursday, June 18 at River City Ale Works in Wheeling. With a cast of a dozen characters - and only five actors to play them all, the murder mystery centers on the very public murder of a scandal-ridden governor. Among the suspects are the governor’s ex-stripper wife, his blueblood ex-wife, his opportunistic campaign manager, an embarrassing brother, a shady lobbyist and a hungry courier.
Other characters encountered in this outrageous satire of the “Law & Order” television shows include an ambitious TV news reporter, a sadistic rookie cop, a wisecracking senior cop, a relentless police captain, a ruthless prosecutor, an ambivalent public defender, a sarcastic coroner and a mean-spirited judge. Some parts are played by audience participants, but most are played by the five cast members: Ryan Sears, Gretchen Schneider, Bert Furioli, Shannan Noe and Butch Maxwell.
