CHAMBER EVENT/FUND RAISER/COMMUNITY EVENT: 10:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. Experience life as it was in the 1800's. Held the second Saturday in October. A celebration of plantation life in the Old South with draft mule and horse events and contests, primitive demonstrations, food, and arts & crafts show, history, food and prizes and fun for the whole family. Held at Callaway Plantation. Sponsored by the Chamber of Commerce.

My husband and I always enjoy this event. It would be nice if they had more places to stop and sit during the day since you could easily stay all day. Lots of interesting stuff.
