Actress and playwright, Juliette Fairley performs in a relevant, poignant and historical solo show, "Mulatto's Dilemma" to open a dialogue about the institution of marriage and being mixed race.
Set in the 1920's, the protagonist Annique Brick searches for her Caucasian family while experiencing the rejection, reactions, challenges and truimphs of the larger than life characters who either love her or hate her. "Mulatto's Dilemma" takes the audience on a journey from the Ante-bellum south, to the Harlem Rennaissance and finally Europe, touching on emotions from love, hate, racism, chauvinism, acceptance and faith.
