Last time I visited Kualalumpur for MTA in Sep 2007. It was a great expirience as I got opportunity to meet business people from different countries.
MTA Malaysia 2008 had 1,500 companies from 33 countries and 7 national groups. Representatives from Austria, China, Germany, India, Korea, Singapore and Taiwan. Major brands such as : ABB, Bystronic, Hexagon Metrology, Hurco, LVD, Mitsubishi Electric, Mori Seiki, Nikon, Sodick, TRUMPF, Yamazaki Mazak and Yamazen. Exhibitors closed over 720 million ringgit in sales over a brief 5 day period.
I have been traveling to different countries to participate in Trade Exhibitions of different industries- Apparel & Fashion Accessorie, Jewelry, Home Decor, Gifts & Crafts, Engineering and industrial products, Auto Components and spare parts, Medical and pharmaceuticals.
Global economic crisis have severely affected the global trade especially in Developed countries in Europe & USA.
Industry experts expect developing economies like-China, India, Brazil, Russia will bring the global economy out of slump.
Hope MTA Malaysia 2009 proves to be a highly successful event for both exibitors and visitors.
My Best Wishes to all participants.
