Mrozfest 2009 July 30, 2009

Mrozfest is a true grassroots festival located in the relaxing countryside of North Carolina Triad area that features the best in local and regional music!

Mrozfest 2009 features the funk roots stylings of globetrotter Sol (Washington DC), reggae rockers the High and Mighties (Chapel Hill NC), powerful singer and saxophonist Tim Smith Band (Carrboro, NC), bluesy Dmitri Resnik (Durham, NC), eclectic folk of Kri (Nashville, TN), and more.

The 3rd annual Mrozfest begins on Thursday July 30 and continues through Saturday August 1. The festival location is a 53 acre with a nice fishing pond, swimming pool, creek, large rolling hills and deep southern forest. Camping sites will be available.

Home brew beers from local North Carolina brew masters will be provided as well as standard kegs. Campers may inquire about using a small nearby kitchen. Camp cooking or small personal grills are welcome. There will be drum circles every night, and small fires will be lit in the camping areas.

Durham is about 20 minutes away, nearest grocery is 15 minutes away, Convience stores are just a few minutes away.
