Tonight, Moviehouse presents the 60s classic The Graduate with two
coming-of-age local shorts and an afterparty featuring the visual
delights of VJ Clay Franklin and the retro rhythms of the Vintage DJ.
Feel better about your own post-college confusion and enjoy one of Dustin Hoffman's best performances as you watch The Graduate. Dress as a character and get $2 off admission.
The night opens with two fabulous shorts from two of New York's best filmmakers.
In Twitch by Leah Meyerhoff, a young girl comes to terms with her
emerging sexuality, her disabled mother and thoughts that her mother's
paralysis is contagious.
In Dad, Look by Bohdana Smyrnova, a teenager follows a couple on the
streets of Chelsea. Only later to we discover their connection.
Bohdana Smyrnova will be on hand for a q and a following the shorts.
To close the evening, its VJ Clay Franklin splicing together found
footage, classic scenes and crazy stuff he made himself while special
guest the Vintage DJ provides all the classic beats you need to get
down.
As always there's free popcorn for everyone and free drinks for the
winner of the Mrs. Robinson trivia contest. All this of just $5.
Moviehouse presents NYC's best short films, a classic feature, and an
afterparty with the neighborhood's best VJs and DJs on the first and
