Whole Foods market and the Houston Arboretum will be screening the kid-friendly and educational film “What’s on Your Plate?” under a blanket of stars in our very own urban oasis. The film follows two eleven-year-old multi-racial kids as they learn about their place on the food chain. They take a look at food systems in New York City and talk with food activists, farmers, new friends, storekeepers, the families, and the viewer, in their quest to understand what’s on all of our plates.
Small snacks and giveaways included with an $8 admission fee. Kids under 12 are free admission! Be sure to bring blankets and chairs for seating.
