Documentary by John Corey about the remarkable career of racehorse Lost in the Fog and his owner, Harry Aleo. After the modestly bred Lost in the Fog develops into one of the fastest horses in the world and sets track records around the country, Aleo reluctantly agrees to retire him to stud for a ten million dollar offer. However, as final plans are being made to ship him to Kentucky, the equine gods intervene and turn this horse racing fairy tale on its head.
