Mourning Obsessions Tours October 30, 2010

Somber Victorian ladies and gentlemen lead this unusual tour featuring the 19th century customs, beliefs, and macabre memorabilia associated with a loved one’s passing. Visitors will learn details of the lives and deaths of Major and Mrs. James H. Dooley and immerse themselves in the Victorian fascination with death and mourning. Tours are available every half-hour; the last tour begins at 4:30.
