Oh, the history the hills have to share...learn the local lore with docents Ed Lange and Ida Rhodes as you descend on the Craig Britton and Purisima Creek Trails. You'll lunch alongside a beautiful creek and return hike up the Whittemore Gulch Trail. This 10-mile vigorous hike will pass old logging sites and grizzly haunts. For this activity at Purisima Creek Redwoods Preserve, meet at the Redwood Trail entrance, a small turnout on the west side of Skyline Boulevard, 13.2 miles north of Page Mill Road or 6.5 miles south of Highway 92.
