someone you care about (yourself included!) has not tried yoga because they are skeptical, shy, think they lack flexibility, or just aren’t sure where to start — this class is the perfect introduction! Come on your own or invite one or more friends or family members to accompany you to this class specially designed to be safe, informative, interesting, satisfying, and fun. Included will be a brief discussion touching on the history, philosophy and benefits of yoga, an introduction to asana (yoga poses) and working with the breath, and suggestions and resources for next steps.
Includes refreshments at the conclusion.
All fitness levels are welcome and will be accommodated. Chairs, mats and cushions will be available for comfort. Please dress in comfortable clothing.
