Mother's Day Brunch at Shor (Hyatt Regency McCormick Place) May 11, 2008

Shor, the elegant new restaurant at Hyatt Regency McCormick Place, 2233 S. Martin Luther King Drive, will feature a delectable Mothers Day brunch for the whole family from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, May 11. The menu will include a Salad Bar, several gourmet Entre choices, fresh fruits, homemade pastries and a sumptuous Dessert Bar. The Mothers Day Brunch will offer breakfast items such as freshly baked Muffins, Assorted Cereals, Granola with Compotes, and Sliced Fruits and Yogurt. At the Salad Bar, guests will be able to indulge in Vine Ripe Tomato Salad with Buffalo Mozzarella and Basil; Seafood Antipasto with Arugula and White Bean Salad; Meats, Cheese and Marinated Vegetables; Tuna Nicoise with Artichokes, Olives, Haricot Verts, Potatoes, and Tomatoes; Pasta Salad with Peas, Roasted Tomatoes, Pancetta Bacon, Watercress, and Goat Cheese Dressing; and Gravlox and Smoked Salmon with Onions, Tomatoes, Capers, and Lemon.

Guests will be able to choose from one of the following a la carte gourmet Entrees: Benedict Filet on Herb Brioche; Crab Omelet with Cream Cheese, Avocado and Tomatoes; Chicken Hash with Poached Eggs, Spinach, and Chipotle Hollandaise;

a Combination of a Bananas Foster Waffle and Orange French Toast with Whipped Cream and Bacon or Sausage; Macadamia Crusted Mahi Mahi with Avocado Mango Salsa braised Fingerlings; Garlic Herb Crusted Chicken Breast over Onion Jam, Braised Potato, and Lemon Chicken Jus; or Lamb Loin Salad with Baby Greens, Artichoke, Mushrooms, Feta, and Lemon Thyme Vinaigrette.
For dessert, there will be a decadent Chocolate Fountain with Berries, Marshmallow, Oreos and Biscotti for dipping. An array of tempting Cookies, Brownies, Cakes, Miniature Pastries, and Cobbler will also be served.

Shor, a Chicago Grill, offers diverse lunch and dinner menus, which both build on and depart from traditional grill standards.
