Mother's Day at Hyatt Regency McCormick Place May 10, 2009

Chicago, IL- Shor, the elegant new restaurant at Hyatt Regency McCormick Place, 2233 S. Martin Luther King Drive, will feature a delectable Mother’s Day Brunch for the whole family from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, May 10. The menu will feature a Salad Bar, several gourmet Entrée choices, fresh fruits, homemade Pastries and a sumptuous Dessert Bar. For reservations, call 312.528.4140.



The Mother’s Day Brunch will offer breakfast items such as freshly baked Pastries, Assorted Cereals, Granola with Condiment and Compotes, and Sliced Fruits and Yogurt. At the Salad Bar, guests will be able to indulge in Assorted lettuces, pasta, condiments and dressings, Chilled Shrimp with Cocktail Sauce, Assorted Salads, and Sliced Cheeses and breads.



Guests will be able to choose from one of the following a la carte gourmet entrees: Eggs Benedict: Filet on Brioche with Chipotle Hollandaise; Chicken & Apple Sausage Hash with Mushrooms, Spinach, Poached Eggs; Crème Brulee French toast with Berry Relish; Herb Roasted Chicken Breast with Vegetables & Natural Gravy over White Cheddar Macaroni; Braised Short Ribs over Mashed Potatoes with Crispy Onions Vegetables & Mushroom Gravy; or Roasted Halibut with Steamed Shrimp, Mussels, Clams & Baby Vegetables served in a Light Tomato Saffron Broth.


The dessert Buffet includes Assorted Cakes, Dessert Samplers, Cookies, Brownies, and a Cheesecake & Brownie Bar with Assorted Condiments.

Shor, a Chicago Grille, offers diverse lunch and dinner menus, which both build on and depart from traditional grille standards. At their core, the menus emphasize well-aged steaks, the freshest seafood and a range of tempting desserts. During lunch hours, Shor’s menu gives guests the opportunity to sample flavors from different Chicago neighborhoods, with items including Taylor Street Tuna, Chicago Deli Hot Corned Beef and South Side Cioppino. In the evening, Shor’s dinner menu features Striped Bass, Peppered Salmon with a drizzle of Ponzu Dressing, as well as Choice Steaks grilled to perfection.
