From his first recording work in 1956 with Al Cohn to collaborations with the likes of Stan Getz and Gerry Mulligan, singer-pianist Mose Allison has crafted a unique brand of jazz that incorporates elements of swing, bop, blues and classical music. "The Sage of Tippo, Mississippi" celebrated his 80th birthday in November 2007, and is still going strong.
