Mosaic Dance Theater Company presents World in Motion -- A Celebration of Dance from Near and Far on Sunday, November 7, 2010 at 5:00 PM at The Lafayette Grill, 54 Franklin Street, New York, NY 10013. World in Motion, a Gala Cabaret Benefit, features the Mosaic company in lively dances from the Mediterranean region of Southern Europe, North Africa and the Middle East. Led by internationally respected performer of Middle Eastern dance Samara, MDTC's Choreographer and Artistic Director for Dance, the company includes Morgiana Celeste Varricchio, Nina Brewton, Dianna Dwyer, Jennifer Bocian, Ayana Alexis, and Liz Dantas. Several Special Guest Artists are joining the company to add to the festivities: Middle Eastern dancers Jehan and Noora; Flamenco dancer Heloisa Melo and Special Guest Choreographer Lettie Abdelaziz.

Mosaic Dance Theater Company, a 501(c)(3) non-profit, public benefit corporation, celebrates the rich cultural diversity of the Mediterranean region, and tours to performing arts venues, universities and schools.
