Morningside-Lenox Park Association to Host “Monumental Ball”
Fifth Annual Fundraising Gala to be Talk of the Town this October

ATLANTA, GA (July 6, 2012) –One of the city’s most thriving intown community organizations, the Morningside-Lenox Park Association, will host its fifth annual Monumental Ball to celebrate the historic neighborhood and the wonderful people who call it home.

Proceeds raised from Monumental Ball ticket sales will benefit the Security Patrol, and the cash bar will benefit the Piedmont Park Conservancy. As a nonprofit organization, the Conservancy strives to restore historic portions of Piedmont Park and protect the Park’s natural environment and historic character.

The fifth annual Monumental Ball will take place on Friday, October 19, from 7:00-11:00 p.m., at the beautiful Magnolia Hall in Piedmont Park. Convenient parking will be located in the SAGE Parking Facility accessible off of Monroe Drive or Piedmont Avenue.

Celebrate this year’s Mayan-themed gala with food and entertainment of epic proportions. The Ball will feature a dinner buffet prepared by Affairs to Remember, a Platinum Sponsor for the event. The event will also offer an amazing silent auction and raffle. Guests can dance all evening to Bogey and The VICEROY with back-up by the dynamic band KINGSIZED. A special performance by The Marching Abominables will round out an evening of fun and style for party revelers. The evening’s attire is black tie optional and costumes are encouraged, but guests should feel free to come as they are.

Tickets are $50 before October 1 and $60 thereafter. Online ticket sales are coming soon via PayPal secure credit card payment www.monumentalball.org. Retail ticket sales begin September 4 at the offices of Fourteen West, REALTORS, 1411 N Highland Ave, 30306. Fourteen West will accept cash and check payments. Tickets will also be available at the Monumental Ball welcome desk at the event. Cash, check and credit card payments will be accepted at the event.
