Radio Free Bacon is a live, local, weekly radio broadcast, that will launch its second season from Zingerman's Roadhouse beginning May 17th. The RFB team will convert our usual proceedings into a special version of the Radio Free Bacon radio show. Radio Free Bacon is produced by Ann Arbor area business and communications professionals, including Rob Reinhart, Peter Carey, Tom Bloomer and musical director Terry Farmer.
On April 22nd, Radio Free Bacon will present music from the stellar Roadhouse Revival Band, guests will include Jim Burnstein (Renaissance Man, D3: The Mighty Ducks) one of the few working Hollywood screenwriters living in Michigan. Most recently, MGM optioned "The Quarterback Tale"; written by Burnstein and his partner Garrett Schiff. Burnstein heads the Screenwriting Program at the University of Michigan, his alma mater, in the Department of Screen Arts & Cultures. Don Ragland will also join us from The Scrap Box. The Scrap Box is the place for creative recycling. You will find a large assortment of unique materials which manufacturers and businesses would otherwise send to landfills. There'll also be some fun Radio Free Bacon prizes given away.
