Morning Birding at Eden Landing Reserve January 23, 2010

Join an expert birder for an exploration of this young salt marsh. The pickleweed might not be as established as it is at the Hayward Shoreline, but the wintering shorebirds don't seem to mind a bit. We'll look for an abundanceof them in both the mud flats that have tidal flow and the flooded salt ponds. Dress warmly, and bring binoculars. Meet at the Eden Landing Ecological Reserve parking lot at the intersection of Clawiter and Arden Rd.
