The Moreno Gistain Duo is making their first appearance in the West Coast. The program "Spanish Inspiration" has been performed in over 40 concert halls and well received.

Many composers throughout history were fascinated by the qualities of Spanish music. The rhythmic qualities, unmistakable melodic movement and evocative harmonies served as an inspiration to composers outside Spain. All this resulted in a large amount of "Spanish music" was composed by non-spanish composers. This program presents an evocative journey through some of the most famous and representative works of this particular merger. All these works were originally written for symphony orchestra and are presented here in piano four hands transcriptions.
