Moorefield Market Benefit Fish Fry for Santa's Kids-Vevay, IN December 12, 2008

A benefit fish fry to help the Santa’s Kids bring Christmas to needy families in Switzerland County (IN) will take place on Friday, Dec. 12 from 4-8 pm at Moorefield Market, located at 805 Hwy 129 in Moorefield.

In conjunction with the Moorefield Fire Department, Santa’s Kids is a community-wide fundraising effort that began in 2004.

Santa’s Kids 4th Annual Fish Fry is an all-you-can-eat dinner complete with your choice of salads, hushpuppies, French fries and a drink for $9.95. Proceeds benefit families throughout Switzerland County.

Raffle tickets are also available for $1 each or six for $5 for prizes that include a 50 caliber muzzle loader, handmade quilt and sweatshirts. The drawing will take place at 7:00 pm on Dec. 12 and you need not be present to win.

Pictures with Santa will also be available on Sat. Dec. 13 from 1-4 pm. Parents are invited to bring their own cameras or for a $1 donation receive a picture taken inside Moorefield Market.

Donations of wrapping paper, ribbon and bows would also be appreciated and can be dropped off at the Market during regular business hours.

Moorefield Market owners hosted a poker run and hog roast fundraiser for Santa’s Kids earlier this year, and hopes to raise additional funds through their Annual Fish Fry.
