'Moon Pilot' on the Big Screen July 13, 2011

In the movie, Astronaut Capt. Richmond Talbot inadvertently volunteers to make the first manned flight around the moon. He is ordered to keep the upcoming moon flight a secret, even from his family. Due to the secrecy of the mission, he is put under the watchful protection of various security agencies.

Moon Pilot is Academy Award-winner Sally Field’s first film appearance (un-credited) – she can be seen as a beatnik in a crowd scene - and the first America film appearance of French bombshell Dany Saval as Lyrae. Tom Tyron, Edmund O’Brien, Tommy Kirk and Brian Keith also star. Moon Pilot will be screened July 1-31, Wednesday through Monday, at 1 and 4pm (except July 16, 17 + 23): $5 for children and $7 for adults.
