Moo-Got-2 August 19, 2006

Moo-Got-2 began in the spring of 2005 when two very prominant Humboldt County bands came to an abrupt end. Bass player Aaron Drago and guitar player Mike Solomon were with funk/hip hop/rock group Lyckitty Split, and drummer/vocalist Darin mitchell was with the power trio Old Man Clemins. It started as a 2 day a week jam session between the 3 of them, and soon turned from jam seesion to practice. Soon they brought in long time friend Tomek on keyboards, and within a few weeks started playing local gigs with other local bands.Not long after they decided to bring in another instrument and pulled in another long time friend, and talented horn player Justin Schwartzman on Sax, Trumpet ,and Trombone. Once the five piece was complete it took no time at all to become a local favorite playing a few local gigs a month in town , and in summer of 05 did some gigs in mammoth california including the late night slot at the mammoth mojo festival at the newest venue in town "sherwins". To finalize the lineup in april of '06 decided to bring in percussionist Lucas Hieronymus to add onother element of rhythm to the mix. They blend their own styles of funk, rock, electronic, and reggae music to make a brand of disco trance that leaves no audience member unmoved. These great players and unlimited genres, mixed with an awesome light and digital video show make for a spectacular mix of sight and sound to be enjoyed by almost -myspace profile-
