On Saturday, June 11th, Vinifera Wine Bar & Bistro will kick off “Vinifera’s World Tour”, a monthly dinner series featuring food, wine and entertainment from various regions of the world. The first stop on the tour is the Spanish country side, conveniently located just a few miles from home.
Executive Chef Bo has created an authentic Spanish menu for the evening, including paella from a 3 ft. wide pan on the outdoor terrace and a tapas menu featuring dishes like Fennel dusted fried mussels with dill dipping sauce and Potatoes and Chorizo cooked in tomato broth. Prices of tapas range from $6-$9.
To complement the dishes, General Manager/Sommelier Jason Meringolo has hand-picked selections of Spain’s world-class wines. Sangria with fresh fruit will be served and wine flights will be available for $15. Master guitarist Dani Corteza will provide diners with authentic flamenco-style entertainment.
“Vinifera’s World Tour” is a monthly dinner series that will include regions like Germany, Greece, Asia Pacific and Latin America. Guests who attend the world tour dinners will receive a travel-sized world map and a stamp for each dinner they attend. Once patrons have attended three world tour dinners and collected the respective stamps, they will be entered into a drawing for the chance to win an overnight stay at The Westin Reston Heights and breakfast for two at Vinifera.
Reservations for “Vinifera’s World Tour” are recommended and can be made between 6 p.m. to 10 p.m on Saturday, July 11th. To make reservations please call 703-234-3550 or visit www.viniferabistro.com.
