Montessori Family Vernal Equinox Potluck March 20, 2009

This Friday Grant Elementary Montessori will enjoy our 3rd annual spring potluck dinner with families of our class. This is a perfect time to visit and get to know the children and adults who make up our community of learners.
The goals are to celebrate spring, meet families who are registered or considering attending next year, and welcome the return of more light and all the new life it brings. Our class will be preparing spring sprout salad. Plan to bring and share a favorite spring potluck dish.
Seeds, pots, and soil will be available so parents can help children plant their own new life to care for at home.
Information and sign-up sheets will be available for those wanting to be more involved now in activities that will support and expand the elementary Montessori program at Grant.

We will serve and eat in the cafeteria. The entrance faces G Street.

We encourage you to bring your own plates, cups, cloth napkins and silverware. Paper and plastic are easy to use and throw away and sometimes we use them. We are working to be role models at Grant for reducing unnecessary waste. Please do what you can. We will have paper and plastic on hand if you need them.
