Montclair Roadtrip to Pennsylvania Sat and/or Sunday, Oct 4,5 October 4, 2008

Roadtrip to Pennsylvania – Saturday and/or Sunday, Oct 4th & 5th Pike and Monroe counties (no more than an hour from Montclair) are critical battlegrounds in this election. We have spoken to the folks in the Obama HQ in Stroudsburg, PA and they explained that Bush won by 4 votes in the last election. They need volunteers. We can make a difference. Plan is to get 20 people (or more), leaving Montclair at 9am sharp. Arrive and begin training at 10am. Hit the ground canvassing in pairs by 11am or so, or if you wish, stay at the campaign HQ to help out. Meanwhile, we will make plans for the kids, if you want to bring them along. We will have babysitters (and some parents) available as well as fun activities planned. Celebration after the Saturday campaigning work This door to door work is critically valuable. RSVP and tell us if you are coming Sat or Sun, with or without kids, and whether you need a ride or can offer one.
