Museum Art Gallery Presents Paintings of Nitin Dadrawala is on display. Nitin Dadrawala’s seemingly plain works have a deep philosophical bent. These monochromatic spaces have been evolving and deepening, acquiring more texture over time. The spaces on the canvas are refracted through his imagination. In some cases, the surface assumes the characteristics of a fresco or cave painting, in others, a deep space exudes a hazy light of cosmic explosion. There is an exploration of colour, moods and atmosphere it evokes. Within the colour field, there appear boundaries — sky and earth and ocean. Groups of dots appear, dark shadings, quasi-geometrical shapes. Entry: Free. Contact: 22844484.
